Carousel was theme song of Howls Moving Castle which is Hayao Miyazaki work with strong original color.   And Carousel was composed by Mamoru Fujisawa, known professionally as Joe Hisaishi who is a composer and director known for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981. He is best known for his work with animator Hayao Miyazaki, having composed scores for many of his films including Nausica? of the Valley of the Wind (1984), Castle in the Sky (1986), My Neighbor Totoro (1988), Kikis Delivery Service (1989), Porco Rosso (1992), Princess Mononoke (1997), Spirited Away (2001), Howls Moving Castle (2004) and Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (2008). He is also recognized for the soundtracks he has provided for filmmaker Beat Takeshi Kitano, including A Scene at the Sea (1991), Dolls (2002), Kikujiro (1999), Hana-bi (1997), Kids Return (1996), and Sonatine (1993).
